TEND = Tune In • Explore • Nourish • Digest

TEND Women’s Workshop series is a monthly Functional Nutrition group circle designed for women struggling with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions and unresolved symptoms. It’s a place to connect, share, and grow—tending to the soil beneath symptoms through story, discussion, and practical tools.

TEND unfolds over three months, creating space for integration — time to learn, practice, and reflect between gatherings.

At its core, TEND is about tending the soil — the internal environment where the roots of our health have formed, adapted, and grown over time.

📍 Location: Natural Grocers

We begin by revisiting the foundational elements of health that are often missed in healthcare, building a shared language and practical tools participants can return to again and again.

TEND is a supportive and guided container for women seeking connection, clarity, and relief.

Each gathering includes:

  • One MIND-BODY practice

  • One visual take-home tool

    • Part of the TEND Toolkit, which builds over time

  • One guided monthly theme

Movement supports resilience, metabolism, and long-term health, but it is not one-size-fits-all. This session reframes exercise as a supportive and sustainable practice.

You’ll explore:

  • Choosing movement that aligns with your body and life stage

  • How exercise impacts hormones, inflammation, and recovery

  • Fueling movement with proper nutrition and hydration

  • Recognizing signs of overtraining and burnout

Guided reflection encourages awareness of personal movement patterns and self-care needs.

April 4 | 9:00–10:15 AM

Theme: Sleep & Relaxation

Restorative sleep is foundational to hormone balance, mood, immune function, and overall well-being. This workshop explores sleep through a functional medicine lens, looking at how lifestyle, nutrition, and nervous system health influence rest.

You’ll explore:

  • Common root causes of sleep disruption and fatigue

  • The role of cortisol, blood sugar, and inflammation

  • Nutritional and lifestyle supports for improved sleep

  • Simple relaxation techniques to calm the nervous system
